In a bid to boost and develop the local economy of the commercial and industrial city of Nnewi, all is set for the grand opening of Nnewi GSM (Global System for Mobile Communications) Village.
The Nnewi GSM Village which is located along Nkwo Nnewi Motor Parts Road is expected to offer a robust market for buyers and sellers of all sorts of phone accessories, alongside other services.
It will also offer residents of the area the opportunity to fix damaged phones, install mobile applications, upgrade softwares and exciting features on their phones.
The GSM Village is expected to provide jobs for different categories of computer engineers, technicians, software handlers, food sellers and many more.
The Village is expected to have over two hundred shops (200) with water facility, parking spaces, toilet facilities, steady power supply, CCTV camera among others.
Speaking to Anaedoonline, one of the workers at the site, who pleaded anonymity, said that all the shops in the GSM Village have been dully allotted to people.
The promoter of the GSM Village, Mr. G. Mohagalu (G-More), said the complex opens Monday, 5th November.
