Anambra State Government today presented cheques for one million naira each to the six students of Regina Paecis that won the World Technovation Challenge held recently in San Francisco, USA.
At a reception held at the governor’s lodge, Amawbia, Governor Willie Obiano also presented cheques for two million naira each to the Principal of the school and the mentor of the Students.
Also during the ceremony which was used to mark the 27th Anniversary of the creation of Anambra State, the governor also announced scholarships for the students uptil their first University degrees.
Present to witness the ceremony where the parents and teachers of the students, members of the National and State Assemblies, State government functionaries among many others.
