The All Progressives Congress (APC) has extended the deadline for the sale and submission of presidential, governorship and national assembly nomination forms for the 2019 elections.
Yekini Nabena, acting spokesman of the APC, made the announcement in a statement on Friday.
Nabena said the deadline had been extended from Monday, September 10 to Tuesday, September 11.
“All aspirants for the listed positions are to submit their duly completed forms to the APC national secretariat and the party’s state secretariat in the case of house of assembly on or before the close of work of the new deadline,” the statement read.
The ruling party will starting elect its candidates for different public offices in two weeks time.
