Mrs Chioma Ndusbuisi a fruit seller in Nnewi shares her how she started her business in order to support her husband in today’s’ episode of Humans of Nnewi.
“I used to be financially dependent on my husband, one day something happened and i felt insulted by my husband so I made up my mind to be financially independent, I used the little money I could gather to start selling oranges. I made sure I packaged my fruits in such a way that made my fruits look desirable to anybody that moves past my stand.

Gradually, I expanded from just Orange sales to selling other fruits, my polite nature and my decent looks attracted many more customers.
Today, I can buy whatever I want for myself and our child without depending on anybody.”
