The Super Falcons of Nigeria are to resume camp on Monday in preparation for the 2018 African Women’s Cup of Nations in Ghana.
The defending African Champions are to head to camp as they look forward to the competition’s draw on October 21st at Kempinski hotel in Accra, Ghana.
The first appearance of the camp which is to begin on Monday and end by October 28th, would be only for home based players; says the Super Falcons Head Coach, Thomas Dennerby, while selecting players for the first phase, who will join the Foreign-based players for the second stage of camping beginning from October 29th in Abuja.
Thomas Dennerby is expected to reveal his final 21 player squad for the tournament before November 4, as Nigeria aim to make the most of being to every edition of the African Women’s Cup of Nations since its inauguration in 1991.

As this years AWCON Ghana 2018 is Africa’s qualification for the FIFA Women’s World Cup, the 10 time African Champions look forward to defending the tittle they took in Cameroon two years ago and also come out in the Top Three to qualify for the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup in France.
