NFF Relocates Super Falcons Camp Base to Lagos

The Super Falcons of Nigeria who are to resume Camp on Monday in Abuja, would now be camping in Lagos as the Nigeria Football Federation has discarded her initial plan of having the girls camp in Abuja and have now relocated the camp base to Lagos for the team’s training in preparation for the 2018 African Women’s Cup of Nations in Ghana.

The defending African Champions will grace camp today at Jubilee Chalets in Epe, Lagos ahead of the eight-nation tournament.

This decision came after the team’s Head Coach, Thomas Dennerby, submitted the list of invited players, home based and Foreign based to the NFF for the first phase of camping.

Players on the List are: African Woman Player of the Year, Asisat Oshoala, Forward – Desire Oparanozie, Chiamaka Nnadozie (goalkeeper) and Glory Ogbonna (defender), Alaba Jonathan (goalkeeper), Tochukwu Oluehi (goalkeeper), (defenders) Joy Jegede and Onome Ebi, (Midfielders) Halimat Ayinde and Osarenoma Igbinovia and Francisca Ordega and Anam Imo (Forwards).

All goalkeepers invited to camp starting this Today, are: Tochukwu Oluehi (Rivers Angels), Christy Ohiaeriaku (Confluence Queens), Alaba Jonathan (Bayelsa Queens), Chiamaka Nnadozie (Rivers Angels), and Onyinyechukwu Okeke (Edo Queens).

The 11th Women Africa Cup of Nations holding in Accra and Cape Coast from November 17th to December 1st with the competition’s draw holding on October 21st at Kempinski hotel in Accra, Ghana. The 10th time African Champions look forward to defending the title they took in Cameroon two years ago and qualify for the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup in France.
