NNEWI: Within the GTB axis of the Bank Road, Nnewi, a number of policemen had gathered and physically maimed a motorcyclist, who was negotiating his way through a pathway by the side of the Guarantee Trust Bank.
The policeman reportedly ordered the oncoming vehicles to a halt so as to create way for a bank customer to drive pass after transacting his business. The said motorcyclist failed to adhere to the instruction and made to drive pass, when one of the policemen halted him, jacked him off his motorcycle and gave him the beating of his life.

The cyclist made an effort to defend himself but other police within the vicinity joined their fists, beating the poor cyclist to a pulp. He sustained injury so brutal that he had to be rescued by concerned passers-by from the policemen and rushed for treatment.
