Mr. Wisdom Obidike, a four hundred level student of Economics Department of the Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka has won a brand new Panasonic Microwave for correctly answering a Bible Quiz on ABS Phone in programme, “Gospel Trivial”.
The prize was presented to Mr. Obidike by the anchor of the programme Mrs. Ify Unachukwu, in company of her co-presenter, Mrs. Nneka Ekwunife.
Presenting the gift, Mrs Unachukwu noted that the prize was sponsored by the traditional ruler of Aguleri, in Anambra East Council Area, Igwe Christopher Idigo, an ardent listener of the programme which comes on air every Sunday between quarter pass eight and nine o” clock in the morning.
She said that the essence of the programme was to propagate the gospel of Jesus Christ and also to encourage the youths to align themselves with the things of God by consistently reading the Bible, adding that people who want to join or sponsor the programme should call 08039574516 for enquires.
Mrs Ekwunife, who co-presented the prize to the winner, on behalf of the Staff and Management of the ABS, lauded the sponsor of the programme Igwe Idigo who has been supporting the programme to motivate youths and challenge them to make God their priority by reading the word of God and meditating on it always.
Receiving the prize, Mr. Obidike who said he was overwhelmed with joy for the prize won, stated that the it would spur him to study the bible more and to practice the teachings of Christ and thanked Igwe Idigo for his kind gesture urging youths to join the programme as according to him it educates and transforms lives.
