CHAPOL HOLDS 2018 ANNUAL CONFERENCE IN AWKA, TOMORROW

Chaplain Corps Policing Explorers, CHAPOL, has concluded plans to organize its 2018 annual conference, which is the 6th in the series since inception.


Joseph Ekwunife, the Anambra State Commandant of CHAPOL and Chairman of the state’s Commandants Forum, said that the event holding on tomorrow, November 17, at the Emmaus House, Awka, Anambra State, which will be a build-up to the group’s operations in public schools will centre on moral values, combating and eradicating moral decadence, social vices, cultism, exam malpractices, among other vices.


“At the end of every year, CHAPOL does gather 10 students from each of the 257 Secondary Schools in Anambra State and also bring resource persons to talk to them in addition to what CHAPOL has been teaching them on moral values in their various schools”, he said.

Ekwunife explained that the 2018 edition of the conference will be chaired by Chief Humphrey Ngonadi, Chairman, Ngobros Nig Ltd; while His Excellency, Gov. Willie Obiano, will be the Father of the Day.


According to him, Prof. Kate Azuka Omenugha, Commissioner for Basic Education in Anambra State, will be Chief Guest Speaker; while Evangelist Favour Ugwuanyi, Permanent Secretary, Post Primary Schools Management Board, Enugu State, will be Special Guest Speaker; just as the Executive Chairman, Post Primary Schools Service Commission, Anambra State, Lady Joy Ulasi, will also be in attendance.
