NONSO OKAFOR (SMART) BAGS AWARD OF EXCELLENCE
The All Progressive Grand Alliance Candidate for Nnewi North State Constituency, Anambra State, Hon. Nonso Okafor (Smart) has added to his ever-growing gallery of awards for his service to humanity.
In an event organized today, Saturday 8th of December, 2018, by the Catholic Boy’s Organization, Nnewi Diocese, Nonso Smart Okafor was honoured in recognition of his contributions in building human capacity and support of global youth apostolate.
Receiving the award, Hon. Nonso Okafor thanked the Catholic Boy’s Organization for finding him worthy of such meritorious award.
He said “The Youths remains the greatest assets that any society can have, therefore, they are the greatest investment any working society can make. Their conduct and roles in any society positively or negatively affect the development of that society.
He, however, urged that the great potentials possessed by the youths should be properly channelled towards achieving development and economic growth.
He added, “Since the youths constitute a sizeable chunk of our population on which the burden of nation-building falls, One of my core legislative agenda if elected, is to make sure that young people must be trained and as quickly as possible to ensure that they provide leadership in Agriculture, Industry, Government and Economic Development. They must be developed intellectually, morally, socially and with relevant skills to face a rapidly advancing technological world, he concluded.
The award ceremony was attended by different notable personalities in Nnewi and beyond.
