Okoro Okechukwu Kizito of the Anaedoonline Kitchen has emerged the most experienced chef in a competition organized for selected students of the University of Nigeria Nsukka for the year, 2018.
The cooking competition held at the university’s main campus in Nsukka on Tuesday, December 11, was contested by 20 chefs, who were tested on their mastery of cooking art.
Anaedoonline reports that the competition which started with auditions commenced two weeks ago with 20 contestants. Out of the 20, 12 were selected after the first audition.
Eight contestants survived the second stage of auditioning among whom was Okoro Okechukwu Kizito, as the only male contestant.
At the grand finale of the contest which involved 8 contestants, they were given two hours to prepare two delicacies: a main dish and a dessert.
After the assessment by the judges, who were experienced cooks, Okoro Okechukwu Kizito was declared the winner to the delight of the audience gathered at the venue.

Speaking after the exercise, Okoro Kizito expressed joy over the outcome of the result and thanked the organizers of the event for what he described as a heartwarming experience.
