MAN SETS HIMSELF ON FIRE AFTER KILLING HIS WIFE
A man reportedly set himself ablaze in Abia State, after killing his wife over an alleged misunderstanding they had.
Though what led to the sad incident is not known, however, eyewitnesses disclosed that the man who set himself ablaze butchered his wife with a cutlass and inflicted serious injuries on her.
The man has been identified as Ejike and it was gathered that the incident caused pandemonium in Ezere, Abia State on Sunday.
Sources told newsmen that while his wife was rescued by some residents of the area and rushed to the hospital, the man who realized that she might die ran into his car and set himself ablaze.
It was not clear, however, whether the woman later survived the ordeal.
