BUHARI ORDERS FREEZING OF CJN ONNOGHEN’S BANK ACCOUNTS
The President Buhari led Federal Government has asked the Nigerian Financial Intelligence Unit (NFIU) to freeze the bank accounts of Walter Onnoghen, chief justice of Nigeria (CJN).
In a letter from the office of Abubakar Malami, the attorney-general of the federation, it was stated that the directive was in line with a presidential executive order.

Onnoghen has a standing trial before the Code of Conduct Bureau for alleged false declaration of the asset upon the petition written by a former aide to President Muhammadu Buhari.
The CJN failed to attend the sitting the CCB Tribunal he was invited to on Monday.
