NATIONWIDE BREAK DECLARED BY THE MINISTRY OF EDUCATION DUE TO THE FORTHCOMING ELECTION

The Federal Ministry of Education also has made arrangements for a mid-term break for all the citadel of learning nationwide to embark on mid-term break for the purpose of general elections coming up this month.

At the meeting with the Ministry of Education today, it was agreed schools will have 2 “half-term breaks” to cover both the presidential and gubernatorial elections:

First, break from February 8th – February 18th. Classes resume on Tuesday, February 19th. Those in Boarding school will return on the evening of February 18th.

Second “half-term break” from February 28th – March 4th. Classes resume on Tuesday, March 5th. Boarders will return on the evening of March 4th.
