PRINCE KENNETH ANAZODO DISAGREE WITH BENCHUKS NWOSU AND NGONADI ON NONSO SMART

Forthy-Eight after the just concluded Anambra State House of Assembly Election for Nnewi North State Constituency Seat, which the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) Candidate, Nonso Peter Okafor (SMART) emerged winner, his main rivals, Dr Obinna Ngonadi of the Young Progressive Party (YPP) and Barr. Benchuks Nwosu of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) is yet to concede defeat after the declarations of the election result on the early hours of Sunday morning.

The Returning Officer for the election, Dr Alapuchukwumbuikem Eugene while announcing the result at the Nnewi North Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) collation centre on the early hours of Sunday Morning declared Nonso Okafor of the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) who polled 13,231 votes as the winner of the election. He defeated his closest rival, Obinna Ngonadi of the Young Progressive Party (YPP), who polled 12,383, while Hon. Benchuks Nwosu polled 2,452 votes to come a distant 3rd.

While the candidate of the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA), Nonso Okafor (SMART) has reacted to the result of the election through a press release, in which he accepted the result and urged his opponents to join heads with him to offer Nnewi quality representation which they will be very proud of, the PDP candidate, Barr. Benchuks Nwosu is yet to react to the result of the election.

For the Young Progressive Party (YPP), Obinna Ngonadi, he appears to be dissatisfied with the election result as he has threatened to go to court. According to him in a recent radio Program in Authority 91.9Fm Nnewi, the total number of cancelled votes was more than the number of margins the APGA candidate defeated him. He promised to officially make his position known soon.

For the candidate of All Progressive Congress (APC), Prince Kenneth Anazodo, he has congratulated the All Progressive Grand Alliance Candidate (APGA), Nonso Okafor on his electoral victory, he has also urged his fellow contestants to avail the
spirit of good sportsmanship and assist Nonso Okafor to march forward for utmost peace in Nnewi.
