TRAGEDY STRIKES FUTO : THREE STUDENTS FOUND DEAD , 1 HOSPITALISED

Three Students of Federal University of Technology, Owerri ( FUTO ) are dead , with one hospitalized at the Federal Medical Centre (FMC ) Owerri , after allegedly consuming some substances in large proportion.

Three guys and a lady met their waterloo yesterday at Sunshine Castle Hostel, Umuchima , ihiagwa Community, Owerri North LGA, Imo state after taking a mixture of tramadol, codeine, vodka and India hemp.

According a Local Vigilante Mr Opara, three of them died instantly, while the girl who was unconscious was moved to Federal Medical Centre Owerri and placed on life support at FMC.

In the exact words of Mr Opara,
“They were all found naked, one was with a bathing soap in his hand, the other lying on-top of the lady among them, the room was filled with bottle of codeine, packets of tramadol, India hemp and vodka drink.”

He Opined that the death maybe as a result of drug abuse .

Another source who goes by the name Uzoma stated, “early this morning, we got a report that 3 FUTO students (3boys) were found dead at Sunshine Castle Umuchima, with one student (1 girl) still unconscious.”

Uzoma hovever stated that the four victims were not legal occupants of the lodge where they were found . Speaking Further , Uzoma said “These Students collected the key of the original occupant , went into the room yesterday and kicked off their smoking , drinking and taking of their drugs but it looks like the mixing went wrong this time which resulted to their demise ” he stated

Continuing, he said” Police Men came this morning to pack the dead bodies and also arrested the lodge caretaker. Currently, most occupants of the lodge have vacated the lodge premises for fear of being illegally arrested.”
