The Concerned Indigenes Of Oporoza Community, Delta State.

The group under the aegis of the concerned indigenes of Oporoza community in a press statement sent to anaedoonline.ng on Tuesday the 23/04/2019, have called on the general public, is, Cooperate bodies, NGOs and the local and state government of Delta State, to stop dealing with the incumbent executives of Oporoza community led by Mr. Johnbull Demebi.

The spokesman of the group Comr. Freeborn Abraye who stated in the press statement that the incumbent executives who have been in power for (5) five years in a system that is meant to be for (3) three years have consistently refused to hand over power to other well-meaning individuals of the community. Comr. Abraye, therefore, stated that every organization, the international oil companies, cooperate bodies and the local and state government should stop dealing with the executives until the issues are resolved. The group called on the cooperate bodies to heed to this advice in order not to cause undue tension in the community.

The group also use this medium to call on the Mr. Johnbul Demebi led executives to call for a general meeting immidietly, in order to address the issue and make necessary arrangements for the inauguration of new executives.

The spokesman of the group Comr. Freeborn Abraye further pointed out that the group is giving the incumbent executives a maximum of two weeks to call for the general meeting and make the necessary arrangements for the handing over to a new executive body, as failure to do so will lead to the automatic dissolving of the executive body, which will be disgraceful to the executives.

Therefore the group advice the incumbent executives to make judicious use of this golden opportunity given to them to correct all their lapses in the community, in order to protect their personal integrity said Comr. Abraye.
