Mr. Dennis has introduced Industrial meter into the market after terminating all forms of payment of electricity bills within. He, however, lamented meeting an empty coffer after his swearing-in as the market’s Chairman.
Speaking To Anaedoonline.com, The Newly Elected Chairman intimated us how the traders have been paying NEPA Bills for the past two years in spite of the epileptic power supply in the market.

“I myself and every member of the Executive body had to take a bold in making sure the light issue sorted. We wrote Enugu Electricity Distribution Company requesting for an Industrial meter. Two weeks of our making this request, a brand new industrial meter was installed in the market by EEDC officials ”
Mr. Dennis speaking on how much it cost the executive body to get the industrial meter installed, replied that it was done free of charge.

Traders in the market were visibly elated by the development.
