Update On 2019 UTME result Check.
In response to the backdrop of claims that majority of candidates, who participated at the board’s 2019 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), had yet to access their results through the checker code and the speculating rumors that the N50 charge incurred through the code was going to the board’s purse.

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board through it’s Head of Media and information, Dr. Fabian Benjamin said candidates can now access their UTME result on the portal.
He said this during an interview with NAN on 15th May in Lagos.
He stated that the board had commenced posting the results to the portal, and candidates are now free to go online, check and print their result.
Dr. Fabian further revealed that as at the time of this report that over a million candidates had already accessed their UTME results using the result checker code 55019
He also stated in clear terms that the N50 charged in the process of checking these results does not go to JAMB’s purse but to the various service providers.
