House Of Assembly Members-Elect Endorse Victor Oye

Anambra State House of Assembly Member-Elects under the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA), has endorsed the National Chairman of All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA), Chief Dr. Victor Oye (Ozonkpu), return as the National Chairman of the party for the second time.

The Members-Elect who were at the Awka residence of the National Chairman on Sunday, 19th May, 2019, declared their unalloyed supports for the re-election bid of Ozonkpu Victor Ike Oye.

Speaking during the visit, the Leader of group, Hon. Cater Dike Nnamdi Umeh, who is the Member-Elect for Aguata (1) State Constituency, thanked the National Chairman for giving the youth opportunity to run for elective positions in All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA), promising that the new Member-Elects would not betray the trust reposed in them by the party. In a separate reaction, the Members-elect individually eulogized the National Chairman for his pragmatic leadership which, they said has made APGA a National party. They cautioned APGA’s detractors to desist forthwith from ridiculing and blackmailing the National chairman and APGA leadership; even as they described them as enemies within, adding that none of them paid a dime to Ozonkpu Victor Ike Oye to be given the party’s ticket.

Responding, the visibly elated national chairman of APGA expressed gratitude to God for blessing the party with vibrant young men, which, he said, would occupy the Anambra State House seats in the 7th Assembly.

He exhorted them never to forget God who made it possible for them to be where they were at the moment, their constituents who gave them their mandates and also the party that produced them.
