Breaking: Innoson Vehicles Clears All Refuse Dump Sites in Nnewi (Video)
Today, Saturday, June 1st, 2019, Innoson Vehicles embarked on clearance of all refuse dumps sites located in various sections of the road in Nnewi. The clearing exercise is still on as at the time of filing this report.
An unconfirmed report intimated Anaedoonline.com that the said the Company has proposed to the State Governor, Chief Willie Obiano for it to be given the opportunity to manage and dispose of waste in the State and using Nnewi as a pilot example. Anaedoonline.com has not confirmed whether the State Government has granted the proposal as at the time of writing this news article.
Recall that on May 27th, Anandoonline published an Editorial where it urged the Governor to declare a State of Emergency on Waste Management in Anambra State.
