May 30th : Nnewi Youth Slams IPOB, Blows Hot!
Some Nnewi Youths, under the Nnewi youth Forum have come out to condemn suspected IPOB members for allegedly attacking a Reverend Father and some officers of the NDLEA.
You may recall that Anaedoonline.com reported how a Rev Father was attacked on the eve of 30th of May by men believed to be members of IPOB .
Nnewi Youth Forum through their Publicity Secretary, Mr Ejiofor Kodili, has come out to staunchly dissociate themselves from the action of the men believed to be members of IPOB .
Nnewi Youth Forum did this through a Press Release Which they made available to anaedoonline.ng this morning.

Udo!!!! Oga ni’ru… We the members of Nnewi Youth Forum renounce the attack on a respected Catholic Priest of the Diocese of Nnewi and Officers of National Drug Law Enforcement Agency(NDLEA) a couple of days ago by some unscrupulous people under the guise of Indigenous People of Biafra.
Nnewi Youth Forum is neither a part of this group nor affiliated to them in any way. We do not condone their activities within Nnewi city in any guise.
We regret that this embarrassing assault on a man of God and Officers of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) happened in Nnewi. We sincerely empathise with the Nnewi Catholic Community.
We plead with all concerned security agencies to investigate and fish the culprits.
We remain a law abiding Town Union Youth Organization with gainfully employed, respected members of the Nnewi Community.
