Going down memory lane the Bishop wrote, “In 1990 when I was installed as Archdeacon of Nnewi Archdeaconry, Igwe has always been a source of fatherly advice and support. He does not miss any Diocesan service and maybe does not miss any church service as a whole. I started my first Synod as a Bishop in 1996, by paying him a courtesy visit where he welcomed me as Bishop with an open arms, on my final Synod as Bishop,I am going to pay him another courtesy visit today to thank him for all his love and support and to solicit for his continued support to the Diocese and Church even as we hand over the baton”

The Bishop however thanked the Igwe for his support saying that he can’t describe him enough.

He prayed for the Igwe and the entire Nnewi community for accepting him and his Family, pleading God to continue to keep Igwe Kenneth Orizu, in good health.
