The Chief press secretary to Abia State Governor, Onyebuchi Ememanka  expressed in a statement dated 17th June, 2019, that Governor Ikpeazu is grateful to the teachers for their maturity, friendship and commitment to the development of primary and secondary education in the State, noting that the consistent first class performance of Abia State in external examinations in the country is a clear testament to the dedication of our teachers working in synergy with his administration.

Ikpeazu reaffirmed his personal commitment and that of his administration to the strengthening of the state’s education system through a holistic development strategy with the welfare of teachers at the fulcrum.
