Sickle Cell Clinic Opened In Iyi Enu Hospital, Onitsha (Photos)
In view of the 2019 world sickle cell day commemoration, yesterday 18th June, Olive Sickle Cell Initiative in partnership with the Iyienu Mission Hospital, launched a Sickle Cell Clinic for those living with Sickle Cell Disorder in Anambra community.
This is to provide access to professional care, assistance and encouragement on their health issues, address their pain and create awareness on the need for medical screenings before marriage and to enlighten the public about the sickle cell disorder.
The team is set to move around Onitsha city today, 19th June for a sickle cell awareness rally and genotype screening to commemorate the world sickle cell day.

Those living with Sickle Cell disorder should never lose hope, but keep living positively for there is hope for them.
