Fulani Vigilante Already In Motion – MASSOB Warns

They spoke in reaction to the call by MACBAN for the establishment of Fulani Youth Vigilante body in the South East.

MACBAN explained that the establishment of the vigilante group was aimed at ensuring adequate security in the region.

But in a statement on Friday by Comrade Uchenna Madu, Leader of MASSOB, he said that the Miyetti Allah, which has the overwhelming backing of the Federal Government could not have made such demand without the knowledge of the ruling government.

Madu said, “For the Fulanis to boldly issue out this sacrilegious and abominable statement proves that the establishment of their vigilante is already in the execution stage.”

“They merely want to know the reactions of Ndigbo which will always be the temporal noisemaking.”

“In a few weeks, the President Buhari-led federal government will establish a biased national paramilitary security body to assist the police in combating crimes all over Nigeria; the Fulanis will take over the leadership control of this newly created civilian police, both in national and state levels, they will be equipped and armed for the sole purpose of conquering Igbo land and other Christian dominated states.”

He reiterated the MASSOB’s earlier warning that “until the Igbo political, traditional, religious leaders recognize the potencies of the pro-Biafra groups and engage them on the security of lives and properties of Ndigbo, Igbo land will continue to be a playing field for the devourers of our people.

“The South West leaders have never condemned or proscribed the activities of OPC or other Oduduwa pressure groups, instead they are working with them for the general interest of Oduduwa land.”

“Even in the northern region, their leaders have never condemned the terrorist activities of Boko Haram and MIYETTI ALLAH. Igbo governors, State Assembly members, Senators and House of Representatives members are all cowards and political errand men.”

“The MIYETTI ALLAH is free to establish their hypocritical security body in Igbo land as nobody will oppose them. Ndigbo should stop deceiving themselves with numerous media noisemaking and WhatsApp group chat. Many Igbo known and unknown groups and individuals will engage in media noisemaking without any proper and effective plan to counter this genocidal onslaught against our future existence.”

“Though MASSOB and other pro-Biafra groups are non-violent, we still have our own traditional means and mechanism to protect the lives and properties of the people of Biafra,” he further stated.
