Students Of Godfrey Okoye University Protest About Insecurity In Female Hostels
The Female Students of Godfrey Okoye University in Enugu state have complained about the Insecurity in the School Hostels especially the Female Hostel.
The Female students who complained to our Enugu Correspondent about a Robber who walked into their hostel robbed them of their phones and walked out without the Hostel security coming to their rescue despite their screams.
According to our source, early this Morning, around 2 am, the robber came into Sacred heart hostel robbed and them of their belongings.
“When he was leaving our Hostel, we were screaming on top of our voices, non of the hostel security men came answered, ” She said.

According to another student who pleaded anonymity, she told us that the Vice Chancellor of the University assured them of security but that she’s surprised at how insecure they are.
Speaking Further, the visibly agitated Student said “What if we were raped? What if the robber had attacked us? I can’t believe how insecure we are here.”
Efforts made by our Correspondent to reach the Vice Chancellor Of Godfrey Okoye University, Rev Fr Prof. Christian Anieke, for comment as regards the student’s complaint have proved abortive as at the time of writing the News report.
