Innoson Chairs the Event, Proffers Solution On How To Reduce The Dense Traffic On Our Roads

Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka today the 9th of August, 2019 organised her 1st Annual Transport Submit/workshop in conjunction with Johnbosco Onunkwo Foundation at the School Multipurpose Hall. The event which was tagged “Life no get duplicate” with the theme ” A good transport network; a panacea to accident minimization”.

The occasion which was chaired by Chief Innocent Ifeadiaso Chukwuma, ably represented by Cornel Osigwe, Head of Communication Innoson Group, who read the chairman’s opening remarks.Chief Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma pointed out in his remark that roads are one of the most important infrastructures in any country.

He said,” the major problem on road-based transportation network is an accident. The reason for this is the extremely dense road traffic and the relatively great freedom of movement given to drivers,”.

He proffered solutions to decreasing the rate of dense traffic by stating that strict laws should be ensured, high technical and police controls, ongoing training of drivers (especially those involved in the transport of dangerous substances) and, if need be, legal and administrative penalties for defaulters.

Father of the day, Chief Sir Godwin Ubaka Okeke CEO GUO Motors urged the student to stay focused on their studies so as to be able to make an impact in the future.
