Akaboezem Youth Day: Kingsley Muoghalu, Ekeson, Bishop Amah, Others, bags Award (Photos)

Former Deputy Governor of Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Prof. Kingsley Muoghalu and Chief Eugene E. Nzom Ojukwu (Ekeson) bagged different awards with Five (5) others, during the 2019 Akaboezem Youth Day.

 

The award ceremony which was part of the activities marking 2019 Akaboezem Youth Day was chaired by Comrade Peter Nwosu (Okwute Nupeng).

Other award recipient include, the Anglican Bishop of Ogbaru Diocese, His Lordship, Rt. Revd. Dr. Prosper Amah, Abuja Based Businessman, Sir. Tochukwu Zeph Nwosu, the Founder and President Emeritus of Akaboezem Youth Movement, Hon. Chioma Ikeh (Chyoma).

Also, Mr. Vicmanuel Oruche (Osieike), and the Director of Ngozi Maternity, Mrs. Ngozi Okeke, were also among the award recipients.

According to the President General of Akaboezem Youth Home and Abroad, Prince Okwuchukwu Ernest Atueyi (Alive Merchandise), the awards were conferred on the recipients for their different community service and support for Youth Development.

 

Receiving the Award as the Political Icon of Akaboezem Community, Former Deputy Governor of Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Prof. Kingsley Muoghalu, thanked the Akaboezem Youths for finding him worthy of such award, according to him, he is ever committed to the development of the community especially as it concerns human capital development, he said that during his days in CBN, he facilitated the employment of the youths in the community and in Nnewi in general.

Speaking about the development of the community, he announced that he has met with the Executive Governor of Anambra State, His Excellency, Dr. Willie Obiano, toward the construction of the dilapidated Akaboezem roads, assuring that the Governor have promised to begin the construction soon.

While assuring to consolidate on his efforts, Prof. Kingsley Muoghalu, said that he remains committed towards using his contacts to develop his community, he said that he has already supplied some security equipments to the Community Vigilante Service.

Receiving his own award, the Chief Executive Officer of Ekeson Motors, Chief Eugene E. Nzom Ojukwu (Odinanwa Nnewi), praised the youths of the community for acknowledging his services towards the development of the community.

Speaking further, he promised to complete the building of the Akaboezem Youth Community Hall, which he is building for the community.

 

Other recipients, in their individual remarks, thanked the Akaboezem Youth Movement (A.Y.M) for the recognition, while promising to contribute to the Akaboezem Youth Trust Fund (AYTF).
