-Group extends a hand of Charity to the downtrodden
Members of a foremost club the “Asian Tiger Friends Club of Nigeria”, who also own the NGO named, “Asian Tiger Foundation” paid a courtesy visit to the chairman of Innoson Group, Chief Innocent Chukwuma(Ifediaso Nnewi) in his country home in Uru-Umudim, Nnewi, Anambra State.
The group whose patron is “Ifediaso Nnewi” came in their numbers to pay homage and encomium to him. Prior to their visit, the group visited hospitals in Ojoto and Oba where they paid the whole hospital bills of indigent patients in the tune of millions. They came in their ‘usual’ grandeur and splendor as they flaunt their club name boldly crested on their “T-Shirt.”
To welcome them, Chief Innocent Chukwuma broke the kola nut and said some prayers. Having done his bit welcoming the capacity-laden group, Asian Tigers, their leader was called upon to introduce the essence of their visit. In that regard, an elated Chief Chibueze Chukwuigbo(‘The vice boss’) of the group, who spoke on behalf of the President, thanked their host, Chief Innocent Chukwuma for always standing by them and the numerous support he has given them.
They also labeled their operations which is to help the downtrodden in the society and settle health bills as something Ifediaso Nnewi is known for. He also narrated to one of our correspondents how the group has toured Anambra, helping to offset medical bills of those that can’t pay.
Also in the meeting were another group named, Committee of Friends. Friends of Chief Innocent Chukwuma were also not left out as they also welcomed the guests with a hospitable approach. It was a full house and there were enough provisions for merriment too.
In the coming weeks, we will profile the group, Asian Tigers, their benevolence and their show of love to the less privileged.
