The Member Representing Nnewi North in Anambra State House of Assembly, Hon. Nonso Okafor (Smart), has advised youths to remain confident and focused in order to excel in their chosen careers.
The lawmaker gave this advice while speaking as a Guest Speaker at Anambra State Youth Summit of the International Bible Believers Church, Nnewi, today, Friday, 6th September, 2019.
Speaking during the summit, Nonso Okafor (Smart) spoke on the need for youths to take what he described as “Calculated Steps” in the process of pursuing their life goals.
According to him, the Grace of God is always sufficient for everyone who believes in himself or herself, and is determined to achieve his or her plans.

Interacting with the youths, Nonso Okafor, charged the youths on the need to fight and eliminate their fears, since fear is an evil that keeps many potentials in the dark. He urged them to embrace courage which is a mark of any successful person.
Inspiring the youths with a brief story of his background, Nonso Okafor (Smart), said that his life is clear testimony that faith in God and determination are two keys that breaks every barrier that tends to limit one’s progress.
For him, though he grew up from a relatively poor family, that is yet to stop him from achieving God’s plans for him.
He encouraged youths not to be discouraged with the economic and social realities in Nigeria, rather to maintain absolute faith in God, while pursuing to fulfill their careers
