The people’s democratic party(PDP) has won the first and second round of application filed against them at the Tribunal.
The tribunal of the presidential election which is ongoing has decided that one of APC’s applications, seeking to nullify the petition of the PDP on grounds that the Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo was not joined as a party in the petition.
The court held that the position of a Vice President is not a necessary party in an election petition, that he is an appendage to the Candidate and he rises and falls with the candidate.
Presidential election petition tribunal, has also ruled that his lead counsel is registered to practice law in Nigeria, that nothing is wrong with his full name or abbreviations.
