US-Based Christian Group Begins Free Medical Service In Nnewi

A US-based Christian group named the African Christian Mission started their medical outreach in Nnewi Anambra state, on Monday, 9 September 2019.

The Five-day free medical outreach is being held at Akwudo Hospital Otolo Nnewi, where free drugs, free medical treatment, and free glasses are been distributed to thousands of people who visit the center. The Mission is comprised of some US-based Nigerians and also, some African-American health practitioners who are on the ground to help with the process.

According to Mrs. Ebele Hope Adodo, who is an indigene of Nnewi born and also the leader of the group, she said, the free medical initiative which started in 2016 was borne out of their need to give back to the society as that is the true essence of Christianity.

The Medical initiative which is 100 percent self-sponsored by the team of medical personnel from the United States, also had more than 30 Nigerian volunteers, comprising of Nurses, Doctors and other Nigerians in the medical field.

The free medical exercise which began on Monday the 9th of September is expected to end on Friday the 13th after which the group will relocate to ABA for another round of free medical treatment.

African Christan Mission is a US-based Christian group that has been to several Countries and parts of Nigeria with their free medical services.
