Security has been the number one priority of the government of Anambra state. In the last five years, Anambra has been the safest state in Nigeria these will be credited to the Governor of Anambra state Willie Obiano who have donated over one hundred security trucks that were fully equipped to security agencies of Anambra state in the first face of operation Kpochapu.
Speaking at the operation Kpochapu 2 launch, the number one citizen of Anambra said “We have donated over five hundred security trucks to the police, Army, Navy, Civil defense, DSS , NDLEA, and Immigration, Road safety, Prisons. Our efforts have been a phenomenon. We have declared a total war on criminals, kidnappers, drug traffickers, and care snatchers and bring them to justice.
“We are set to Kpochapu (clear completely) and I want to warn all criminals, we will be more deadly than before. I am warning all criminals to disappear from Anambra State. We are shifting our severance”.
”Ndi Anambra are encouraged to report any crime or suspicious movements by calling “112” or 07039194332. These criminals are human beings. Some are our brothers or are related to us or our aquentencies. This is the right time to tell them to change their ways or leave Anambra State. I can assure Ndi Anambra that this joint task force will fulfil its mandate”.

Obaina expressed gratitude to the entire security agency for securing Anambra urging them to keep it up. In his words “I want to assure Ndi Anambra both those at home and in Diaspora that this state is ready for charismas. I will keep awake so that you all will sleep with your eyes closed. We shall not relent until all shades of criminals will be wiped out. There is no hiding place for criminals.
“Ndi Anambra has a responsibility which is to inform security agencies about criminals, arm rubbers suspicious movements were ever they are”.
Commissioning the vehicles, Obiano while handing them over to the Inspector General Police, Muhammed Adamu said: “I hope the force will be able to keep Anambra saver and freer so that my people can sleep with their two eyes closed”.
Receiving the equipment on behalf of the security agencies, the IGP said ”We are very grateful for the vehicles, motorcycle. This is a gesture and if every state government can do what you are doing on security, Nigeria will be a better society. I call on other stack holders, you have the desire of securing their people to emulate what the governor of Anambra has is doing in terms of securing his people. To all the security agency, you have gotten what you required, Anambra will be protected hundred percent. Ndi-Anambra will sleep with their eyes closed.
Senator Victor Umeh while speaking with Journalists after the event commended the number one citizen of Anambra State for the giant strides the security of the State has witnessed stating that “Anambra is more secured than before which one of the reasons the state is has attracted more investors. Everybody is safe”.
