They say a toad run in the afternoon for nothing. The Prince Madumere and Owelle Rochas Okorocha saga drag on as the immediate past deputy governor has revealed that his estranged political affiliate has sought to reconcile with him and he has turned it down.
Madumere confirmed that the former governor has sent some clerics to seek a truce with him and support him in his course to cause a constitutional blockade for the Ihedioha led administration. News gathered revealed that Madumere’s refusal to work with Rochas against the new government was the last straw that paralyzed Okorocha’s joker to work against the state government.
It was said that the former governor accused the former deputy governor of working with the PDP against APC and Rochas described Madumere as a pawn in Ihedioha’s chessboard.

In a release, it was revealed that Madumere rejected the refusal because he is a leader who has the interest of the people at heart and that also made him perform the constitutional role of formally handing over the baton of leadership and this was followed by a thunderous ovation.
It was also revealed how Madumere turned down the former governor’s incentives, which he described as a Greek gift in return for his support of his son in law, Uche Nwosu.
Madumere also assured the Imo APC of his unalloyed loyalty to the wellbeing and welfare of the party.
