National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) in collaboration with the office of The Imo State Governor On Youth Affairs on Tuesday agreed to fast-track the fight against drug Abuse
The Special Assistant To Governor Ihedioha On Youth Affairs made the promise on Tuesday during a courtesy visit to the NDLEA Owerri Command.
Okoro expressed concern over the increasing involvement of youths in drug abuse and drug-related crimes in the state.
A Growing population hooked on drugs cannot be relied upon. The entire Imolite must cooperate with NDLEA to stop the youths from drug abuse, he said.
The Former Imsu SUG President also noted that campaigns, Seminars and awareness programmes would be organized to curtail the trend.
