The duo of Chief Tochukwu Afamuefuna alias Obi Okponwa and Rapuluchukwu Ofodeme alias Rapkon are set to bury their Mom is grandstyle.

According to a release by the family of Ofodeme in Okpuno-Egbu, Umudim-Nnewi Anambra state announcing the demise of their mother Late Mrs. Ngozi Bridget Ofordeme will be buried on Friday, November 15th 2019 at the family compound in Okpuno Egbu Umudim, Nnewi.

Late Mrs. Ngozi Bridget Ofodeme who passed away shortly after a brief Illness on July 24th, 2019 lived an exemplary life and was known among her peers as a disciplinarian and a devout Christian. She was a teacher with unique qualities who impacted a lot to pupils and students who passed through her.

Late Mrs. Ngozi Bridget Ofodeme was born on March 28, 1945, into the family of the Late Mr. Sydney and Mrs. Paulina Dike in Obaisi-edo, Okpuno-Egbu, Umudim Nnewi. She was the first child of her parents.
She attended her primary school at C.M.S Onitsha and also did her secondary school at Amumara Girls’ Secondary Owerri. She was trained as a teacher at the Teachers’ Training College, then at Okofia, Otolo-Nnewi. She did auxiliary teaching for years at Akwu-Egbo Central School Nnewi and was fully employed as a teacher on the 22nd Of October in the year 1976. She taught for years before she resigned from teaching to start trading.

Late Mrs. Ngozi Bridget Ofodeme got married to Late Chief Afamuefuna Ofodeme of Okpuno-Egbu, Umudim-Nnewi, in the year 1964. Apart from their first child who died in January 1970. After about four years, their marriage was blessed with nine surviving children.

As a born again Christian, she was a dedicated member of The Redeemed Bible Church since 1996, and an active member of the Welfare Department of the Church till her death.

She was said to be industrious, humble, selfless, loving, generous, disciplined, forgiving and a resourceful woman. She lived a lifestyle of sound morals and inculcated the same in her children.
