Following the visit of Twitter CEO, Jack Dorsey to Nigeria, some southeast based Youths took to Facebook to complain about the poor involvement of Ndigbo and South East in the new media space and in technology.
Jack who shared some pictures of tech companies he visited in Nigeria including Andela, CCHub, Techpoint, and Unilag, were all in Lagos and none in the South East or of Igbo descent.
According to the Facebook post by Mr. Chukwunonso Nzekwe( The Director of Operations, AnaedoOnline.Com he wrote

“When will folks in South East begin to get the numbers that will stir these guys to visit?
When will South East folks leverage on New media to create solutions that will bring about rapid change in the region?”
Some of the reactions on the post were full of blame for the Government in the South East and lack of support from wealthy businessmen in the region. See screenshot of the comments below;
