With the international break over, the Premier League is back with a box of surprises. Not until a few weeks ago, it seemed strange that Jose Mourinho would be in the dugout as Spurs manager, however, it has happened so let the banter begin.

In other fixtures, Lampard and his boys will travel to the Etihad to face Manchester City, Arsenal will host Southampton while Liverpool will travel to Selhurst Park to face Crystal Palace. See the full preview below.

Westham vs Tottenham Hotspur 1:30 pm

After sacking their most successful manager in the club’s history within the week, Spurs will make a tricky trip to Upton Park to face Westham United. With Pochettino gone and Mourinho now in charge, Dany Levy would be hoping things change for good but it may not happen too soon. Jose Mourinho Replaces Mauricio Pochettino As new Tottenham Manager

Jose Mourinho has had good spells in the English soil having won the EPL three times with Chelsea and a Europa trophy with Manchester United before he was dismissed by United in December. He will have to prove to his former employers that he is still the special one as the season progress, but more importantly, he has to win the trophy for the club as the trophy cabinet has been empty for years.

Spurs won here last season through an Erik Lamela 44th minute strike. West Ham was beaten 3-0 by Burnley before the international break and will be looking to bounce back but it might not happen.

Predictions Westham 1-3 Tottenham Hotspur

Arsenal Vs Southampton 4:00 pm

Arsenal is in a descending form and the way things are going it may be difficult for the Gunners to finish fourth in the table or even chew out a silverware this season. They have managed to pick 2 points in their last EPL outings and just before the international break, they lost 2-0 to Leicester City.

Outside of the poor results, things are not looking well in the dressing room and fans are heaping the blame on Unai Emery. Xhaka has been relieved of the captaincy band after he was booed against Wolves, Ozil is yet to make a major appearance in games and it appeared that Luiz and Sokratis partnership at the back is a bad idea. Still, Unai is not worried. Arsenal doesn’t have a history of dismissing managers too quick so the board will give him time to improve the squad.

As for the Saints, they have managed to pick just one point in their last 6 Premiership matches, they’re having a nightmare. The owner of the club is not in a hurry to sack Ralph Hasenhüttl even after that embarrassing home defeat against Leicester. This is a match between two misfiring clubs and it may end in a stalemate.

Prediction: Arsenal 1- 1 Southampton

Brighton Vs Leicester 4:00 pm

Brighton is 11th in the Premier League table, it is not a miracle, they have worked so hard for it. They have beaten top teams this season (that is if you count Tottenham and Everton) as big teams. They lost to Manchester United before the break and Chris Hughton believes it’s a temporary setback. How much of that believe will unfold when they welcome a motivated Leicester City who is on the brink of repeating the miracle they did in 2016.

Predictions Brighton 1: 3 Leicester

Watford Vs Burnley 4:00 PM

No one in the Milky Way cares about this match, except you nairabetters. Ok, ok, the match will be played for ninety minutes that I am sure. Uhm, er, I think the home side will win. Don’t bet on it.

Prediction Watford 1:0 Burnley

Crystal Palace Vs Liverpool 4:00 Pm

Last season, Crystal Palace troubled many big teams and snatched points away from them but this season has been tough. To make things worse, they’re going to answer the call when Klopp’s brigade stands at the door and knock. Mane, Salah and co will have a lot of questions for Roy Hodgson’s boys when the door is opened. I doubt if the Eagles can proffer all the answers for them.
Everything seems to be panning out well for Klopp as he continues to smile regularly in every game like it’s a requirement for picking up three points. This match will be a mouthwatering spark.

Prediction: Crystal Palace 1-2 Liverpool

I don’t see Wolves getting anything from this one, period (not in Donald trump’s voice.)

Everton Vs Norwich 4:00 PM

After an embarrassing side to the season, Everton seems to have improved lately. They defeated Southampton before the break and seeing off Norwich shouldn’t be difficult except they will have to stop Pukki.

Predictions Everton 1-0 Norwich

Manchester City Vs Chelsea 6:30 PM

Now the league has begun for Guardiola; he is aware that the EPL is no expressway to be sped through. There are bumps and potholes. He was given a reality check at Anfield before the break and will be prepared to make things right in this evening kick-off. In this fixture last season, they beat Chelsea 6-0 in a match that contributed to Chelsea’s annus horribilis but things seem to be looking brightly for Chelsea after the appointment of Frank Lampard.

I Want To Be Lampards Assistance At Chelsea – Mikel Obi

In his fitting t-shirts and tracks, Lampard looks more like a player than a manager he is, but his image should not change perceptions of the work he has done and his impact already at Chelsea. He has gotten the best out of the youngsters at his disposal and Chelsea is looking like a strong team again. However, he is yet to beat a top side this season and he might still fall at the Etihad considering that Guardiola and his boys are coming from a backdrop of defeat at Anfield. I don’t see Chelsea getting a draw in this game.

Predictions: City 3-1 Chelsea

Sheffield United Vs Manchester United Sunday 24/11/2019 5:30 pm
Sheffield is 5th in the Premier League table, a somewhat miracle. They played a 2-2 draw with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, they won Arsenal and they played 1-1 draw with Tottenham. They’re too formidable to drop points against an Ole Gunnar side that is generous in gifting points. It feels like Christmas for Man Utd foes as pundits rule them out of the top-four finish.

Predictions: Sheffield United 2-1 Manchester United

Aston Villa Vs Newcastle 25/11/2019 9:00 PM

There were days when Aston Villa had the best attack in the Premiership. Gabriel Agbonlahor was their top striker and they made so many memories. Then the dark days came and they were relegated. Since they made it back to the Premiership, they have not shown convincing results on why they should not be relegated again.

As for Newcastle, Steve Bruce men are having a “partee after partee”. They have won three out of their last 5 games. Benitez’s memories are over, Steve is now the fans gaffer.
Prediction: Aston Villa 0-2 Newcastle
