Gender Equality: Dr. Alutu’s College Of Excellence Takes A Stand (Photos)

As part of the activities to celebrate the 2018/2019 set of Dr. Alutu College Of Excellence And Computer Studies, the school launched a 52 page magazine with the theme; Gender Equality beyond the Classroom.

The principal, Mazi Chukwuemeka Alutu said the female gender should see themselves as equal partners to the male gender. He stressed the need for inclusion of girls and females both in school at the workplace.

The Editor in Chief, Alutu Chineze in her Editor ‘s Note, said the theme of the magazine is centered more balance for both genders. She stated that it is not about showing the weakness of the female or strength of the man but a case of including both male and female in every sphere of life.

The magazine showcased lots of pictures and more importantly, thrilling pieces on Gender, Feminism, Patriarchy, from the likes of, Onyekwere Chioma, Alutu Anita, Ahiwe Johnbosco, and another from Prosper Chukwuka et Chisom Obiora, which was written in French language.

The magazine also featured interviews and creative arts of the students. The magazine is a true reflection of the quality of education being meted out to the students in the school.

The magazine is available for sale at the school premises.
