Anambra State has been affected by fire incidents and when we think we have had enough for the year, another fire incident struck today at Abagana town in Anambra State.

The Fire was managed by men of Anambra State Police Command and the fire service command Anambra State.

While reacting to the fire incidence, the PPRO of Anambra State Police Command, SP Haruna Mohammed said no life was lost but millions of Naira worth of goods and properties were lost.

FIRE INCIDENT.

Today 27/12/2019 at about 2:pm, there was a fire outbreak at bush bar axis of Centre view hotel Abagana in Njikoka LGA of Anambra State.

Following the distress call, the Police patrol team led by DPO Abagana Division CSP Prince Ugochukwu Ezejiofor rushed to the scene and alerted the fire service department.

Meanwhile, the fire was put off with the assistance of volunteers. The area was cordoned off by the Police to prevent hoodlums from taking advantage of the situation to loot. The Cause of fire is yet unknown and properties worth millions of naira were destroyed.

Consequently, no loss of life and no casualty recorded. The case is under investigation to ascertain circumstances surrounding the incident, please.
