Shehu Sani, a former federal lawmaker, has finally been arraigned at a Federal High Court sitting in Abuja, today.

Mr. Sani, a former senator who had represented Kaduna Central at the Senate, is being charged for bribery and fraud.

The former Senator arraigned on a two-count charge bordering on bribery and fraud by the EFCC also protested his long detention. The two-count charge was brought against him by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

He has however pleaded not guilty to the charges at the time of filing this report.

And in a recent development, A Federal High Court sitting in Abuja has granted the former lawmaker, Shehu Sani, bail of N10m.

Mr. Sani who has been in the custody of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) since he was picked up last December, was today arraigned by the anti-graft agency.
