The Abia state commissioner of police, Ene Okon, while warning the secessionists championing the restoration of the defunct Biafra Republic, said his men would scatter the burial premises should they fail to adhere.

Mr Okon is reported to have relayed his condition to leaders of they community. The outlawed group is not backing down from attending the funeral.

“Whoever thinks along that line is fooling himself. IPOB will dance during the burial and the police elephants will dance too,” the police boss was quoted by Punch Newspapers to have said.

“They (Afaraukwu community) should tell IPOB not go near the area, let alone participating in the burial.

“If the community fails to adhere to the police’s warning the burial will not go on smoothly because we are going to scatter the place. IPOB is proscribed by the Federal Government.
