Former President Olusegun Obasanjo has urged the executive and the legislature to work together towards producing a brand new constitution for Nigeria.
The former president expressed that this should be carried out before the situation in the country gets out of hand.
He made this statement at the first Dr. Frederick Fasehun Memorial Lecture in Lagos Saturday.

Obasanjo pointed out it would appear members of the National Assembly are fully aware of the lurking danger and wants to be proactive in handling it, but seem to be handicapped by the constitution.
