Prince Okojie, Mercy Johnson’s husband, has allegedly filed a lawsuit against the popular singer, Davido.
According to reports, the “Blow My Mind’ crooner was billed to perform at the opening ceremony of Okojie’s hotel, Henod Luxury Hotels in Abule Egba, Lagos.
After the payment was made, the singer went ahead to post the advert on his Instagram page hinting on his presence on the said date.
However, after allegedly receiving the sum of N3million, the 27-year-old musician, who confirmed that he will be present at the grand launch via Instagram, failed to show up.

The singer, who is presently on tour in America, has allegedly refused to acknowledge the issue and all efforts to speak to his management team proved abortive as they stopped taking calls, which prompted him to sue the singer.
It was later gathered that Davido had traveled abroad for another show, a day before.
Davido allegedly claimed that he was advised against attending an event in such an ‘unsafe’ neighbourhood for fear of being mobbed.
It was learnt that Prince Okojie has had talks with his lawyer Festus Keyamo Chambers and have gone to the Police to make a statement accusing Davido of duping him.
