A new drug effective in the treatment of coronavirus has been revealed by the United States. The revealed that chloroquine can be used in treatment of the pandemic virus.
According to AFP, the US has approved the anti-malarial drug chloroquine for use as a treatment against the new coronavirus. The approval was given by President Donald Trump on Thursday.
“We’re going to be able to make that drug available almost immediately, and that’s where the FDA (Food and Drug Administration) has been so great,” Trump told reporters.

“They’ve gone through the approval process – it’s been approved. They took it down from many, many months to immediate. So we’re going to be able to make that drug available by prescription.”
Meanwhile, the English Premier League will be suspended until at least April 30 due to the coronavirus crisis, the English game’s governing bodies have said.
In a joint statement on Thursday after a video conference meeting, the authorities said the current season can still be extended indefinitely.
The Football Association, Premier League, EFL and women’s professional game bodies, along with players and managers associations, agreed to extend the formal end-date for the 2019/2020 season.
