The Osun State government has said the missing Coronavirus (COVID-19) patient has been apprehended and returned to the state isolation centre in Ejigbo.
Chief Press Secretary to Governor Gboyega Oyetola, Ismail Omipidan confirmed it to newsmen, according to Punch.
The patient, who is a woman, was said to have been apprehended in Ejigbo town by policemen on Saturday afternoon and returned to the facility. Omipidan said the patient had been apprehended and returned to the facility.

The Osun government had earlier said the police have began a manhunt for the escaped kamsz npatient.
Also confirming the development in a statement, Commissioner for information in the state, Funke Egbemode said the state government was still in the process of tracing individuals the patient might have come in contact with.
Egbemode noted that security within and around the Isolation centre has been beefed up.
She assured that the government would continue to enhance measures to prevent further spread of COVID-19 in the State.
Osun State Government on Saturday said one patient in his coronavirus isolation centre was missing, even as it denied reports that six of those in isolation centre in Ejigbo had fled the facility.
A report early Saturday had claimed six of the 18 coronavirus cases, who returned positive among 127 returnees from Ivory Coast had left the isolation centre.

But Osun State Government in a statement by Funke Egbemode, the commissioner for Information and Civic Orientation, dismissed the report and said after headcount, only one person could not be accounted for.
