The United States President, Donald Trump has berated the World Health Organization for taking sides with China, amidst the Coronavirus pandemic.

He tweeted about this on Tuesday.

Recall that Trump had initially called COVID-19 ” China virus,” thereby sparking criticisms from within and outside the U.S.

Trump reacted after WHO had on Monday, urged the world not to see COVID-19 as a deliberate product of any country or race.

“Viruses know no borders and they don’t care about your ethnicity, the color of your skin or how much money you have in the bank.

“So it’s really important we be careful in the language we use lest it lead to the profiling of individuals associated with the virus,” Mike Ryan, WHO’s executive director of emergencies program said.

But the U.S. President said despite the fact that the United States was the biggest financier of the United Nations health agency, they were still “China centric”.

He claimed that the organization was wrong to have said that he should keep the American border open to China.

He stressed that if not he ordered border closure, the Coronavirus pandemic would have been out of control in his country.
