Tummy-Tummy Foods Donates 1 Truck of Noodles To Imo State Govt

The Chairman Tummy Tummy foods Chief Chika Emenike has extended his philanthropic gestures to his state of origin- Imo state as he donated a truck-load of Tummy-Tummy noodles worth N2,250,000 to support the Imo state government on the fight against Coronavirus.

This is coming a day after he donated an equivalent to the Anambra state government.

At the brief handover ceremony held at the government house, Imo state were state government officials, led by the Chief of staff, Imo state, Barr Nnamdi Anyaehie on Thursday, 16th April 2020.

On behalf of the Governor, the chief of staff expressed his profound gratitude to the management stating that Tummy Tummy foods and Imo state government will remain partners in progress in the fight against Covid19. He promised that the administration led by Sen. Hope Uzodinma will make sure corporate entities such as his thrive in the state.

He called on well-meaning Imolites to join Chief Emenike and put all hands on deck to wade off the pandemic and its accompanying challenges. Speaking with www.anaedoonline.com he assured that the donation will be distributed among electoral wards in Imo state and down to the communities.

Chief Emenike has been at the forefront of supporting the vulnerable, donating palliative materials to alleviate their challenges during this pandemic. At the handover, he expressed his deep concern for Imolites who are affected by the lockdown reiterating the demeaning activities and vices people have engaged in caused by hunger; motivated by these, he contributes his quota to curb hunger, an offshoot of the lockdown.

He revealed that he and his management will donate more if the pandemic continues to prolong. He stated they have other ongoing projects with churches and communities where they have donated relief items.

Present at the briefing were Mr. Ogochukwu Emenike, the Executive Director, Tummy-Tummy Foods Ltd, Mr. Chijioke Anumoka, the general manager, among others.
