Coronavirus: Lagos State Govt. Confirm Death Of Three Patients

Lagos State Government has announced the death of three coronavirus patients. He revealed the deceased were two males and one female, which brings the total number of Coronavirus related deaths in Lagos to 13.

“32 new Coronavirus cases were confirmed in Lagos on April 17, 2020. Total number of confirmed cases in Lagos now stands at 286. Sadly, Lagos has recorded 3 more deaths bringing total number of coronavirus related deaths in Lagos to 13,” Abayomi wrote.

“The deceased are 2 males and 1 female aged 52, 63 and 67. Two of the dead had underlying health issues. The 2 males had no travel history or record of contact with any infected person.

“The female was however suspected to have had contact with an infected person who recently returned to Nigeria.”

The commissioner urged Lagosians to maintain social distancing as a preventive measure against the deadly disease.

However, the Chief of Staff to President Muhammadu Buhari, Abba Kyari is d**d. The Media Adviser to Buhari, Femi Adesina, broke the news in a tweet few minutes ago.

The president’s chief of staff had gone on self-isolation late March after testing positive for coronavirus pandemic.

He had subsequently moved to Lagos for treatment. Details of his death are still sketchy but Femi Adesina, the presidential spokesman, confirmed it in a tweet.

“Chief of Staff to the President, Mallam Abba Kyari, passes on. May God rest his soul. Amen. Funeral arrangements to be announced soon” he tweeted.
